- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
- 4 ounces turkey breast (sliced)
- Butter (for grilling)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer two slices of cheddar cheese.
- Add the sliced turkey breast, followed by the crispy turkey bacon, and top with another slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Cook in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Make sure your skillet is hot enough for a crispy finish. Prep the ingredients ahead for quick assembly.
