Description

A cozy sandwich featuring creamy cheddar, crispy turkey bacon, and tender turkey breast on toasted sourdough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces turkey breast (sliced)
  • Butter (for grilling)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer two slices of cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the sliced turkey breast, followed by the crispy turkey bacon, and top with another slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
  6. Cook in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure your skillet is hot enough for a crispy finish. Prep the ingredients ahead for quick assembly.
