Description

A rich and creamy homemade caramel brulee latte syrup that adds warmth and indulgent flavor to your coffee and treats.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the brown sugar, water, and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat until smooth.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in the vanilla extract and kosher salt, stirring until well blended.
  4. Allow the syrup to cool in the saucepan, whisking occasionally to eliminate clumps.
  5. Transfer the cooled syrup to a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Notes

Whisk continuously while simmering for a silky-smooth syrup; clumps will dissolve with continued whisking. Package in festive jars for gifts.
