- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar for the crumb topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, then gently fold in the blueberries.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with batter.
- Mix the crumb topping by combining 1/4 cup sugar with remaining flour and butter until crumbly; sprinkle on top of muffins.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Customize with lemon zest, chocolate chips, or nuts for delicious variations. Store in an airtight container.
