Description

Delightful blueberry muffins that are quick and easy to make, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar for the crumb topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, then gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Mix the crumb topping by combining 1/4 cup sugar with remaining flour and butter until crumbly; sprinkle on top of muffins.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
