Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh or freeze-dried blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until smooth and velvety.
  3. If using, blend in the lemon juice and vanilla extract.
  4. If using fresh blueberries, mash them gently before adding to the mixture; if using freeze-dried, crush them into a fine powder.
  5. Mix in the blueberries until the frosting is evenly colored.
