Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ (177℃). Lightly grease and flour an 8.5×4.5-inch loaf pan or use baking spray for easy release.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter in a large bowl.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and pure vanilla extract; stir well with a large wooden spoon.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt over the mixture and stir gently to combine.
  5. Add the all-purpose flour and fold in the chopped walnuts or chocolate chips. Stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
