Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Add the yeast mixture and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- In another bowl, mix ground beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and green onions.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces and roll out each piece into circles. Place a spoonful of beef filling in the center of each circle, fold over, and pinch to seal.
- Place the buns in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper and steam for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy the flavors!

You can prepare the filling a day in advance and freeze the buns for later.
