Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring vibrant broccoli, savory garlic, and crispy turkey bacon, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and let it drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to coat the broccoli evenly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve topped with crispy turkey bacon and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

You can prep the broccoli and bacon in advance; sauté them just before serving for a quick dinner. Feel free to swap in other types of vegetables or proteins.
